When God created the earth, He knew that you and I would need to understand how to be a woman in this world. The journey of author Rosalynn Calderon started with gaining a better understanding of what it means to be a “Virtuous Woman”. She realized that perhaps everything in Psalm 139 is true about not just her, but you, too.
When God made us, He gave us a virtuous spirit. However, we as women are not always taught how to properly use this God-given virtuous nature.
Others may tell us our solution in trying to channel our virtuous predisposition with saying things such as: “Read your Bible”, or, “Pray about it, pray harder”, or, “Go to church and worship with the people.”
According to author Rosalynn Calderon, the reality is that we as women need to be shown how to behave as a virtuous woman -- not just hope that we will get it on our own.
I’m a young woman married with children, and strong desire to please God. After understanding God will never leave, nor for sake me. I found that living a life pleasing to God successfully, can’t be done without God our Father. I desire to continuously learn my spiritual identity, being Virtuous Woman the way God deemed it. As I feel God has given it to me, I’ve been blessed to share this good news and encourage other women who have chosen to live life pleasing to God.
